Bill became CEO of Mandalay Digital Group in October 2014. Prior to becoming CEO, he was CEO of Digital Turbine Group, Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mandalay Digital from September 2012 to September 2014. Bill was previously Senior Vice President of QUALCOMM Inc. and President of its subsidiary FLO TV Inc. from 2009 to 2011. Prior to Qualcomm, he was the CEO and President of the smartphone application storefront provider, Handango, (acquired by Appia Inc.) from 2007 to 2009. Bill has also served as the President of Amp'd Mobile Inc., from 2006 to 2007. He has extensive experience in carrier relations, wireless, content, marketing and distribution, having held executive positions at several operators such as Verizon, Vodafone, and AirTouch. Bill received his BA and MBA from Rice University.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Prior to being appointed the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Garrison was the Chief Financial Officer of Competitor Group, Inc., a media and event company in the active lifestyle industry, from March 2014 to March 2015; the Chief Financial Officer of Netspend, a division of TSYS Company, a leading provider of reloadable prepaid debit cards, from June 2013 to March 2014, and the Treasurer/VP of Finance from October 2008 to June 2013. Prior to his Netspend position, Mr. Garrison served in senior financial roles at Dell Financial Services, Seiko Instruments International and Austaco, Inc. Mr. Garrison has a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from St. Edwards University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of New Mexico, Robert O. Anderson School of Management.
Executive Vice President of Digital Turbine Media
Matt Tubergen serves as the Executive Vice President of Digital Turbine Media where he is responsible for overseeing all mobile media and campaign development, management and strategy for its 300 top brands and app clients. With over 15 years’ experience in the mobile app ecosystem, he has pioneered mobile first strategies for hundreds of the top mobile properties. Previously he led mobile demand strategy as SVP & General Manager at Taptica. He has held senior management positions for American Greetings, THQ and Native X along with supporting multiple successful startups which he founded or co-founded. His background includes media acquisitions, mobile marketing and monetization strategies, product management and business development with partners spanning NFL to Disney.
Head of Asia Pacific and EVP Group Product, Operations, and Delivery
Jon has 20 years of experience working with mobile technology products and content & application services. He has worked at software start ups as well as major mobile carriers including T-Mobile and Telstra both in Europe and Asia Pacific. Prior to his current position he was COO and founding shareholder of Australian mobile technology and content provider, MIA. The business was developed from start up to the leading mobile technology/content provider in Australia before being acquired by Digital Turbine in 2013.
Acting Chief Accounting Officer
Mr. Wesch is a Certified Public Accountant with over six years of experience, spanning public accounting and various industries, including technology, manufacturing, and oil and gas, with a focus primarily on technology. Mr. Wesch has been the Accounting and SEC Financial Reporting Manager of the Company since May 2015. Prior to joining Digital Turbine, Inc., Mr. Wesch was a Manager at BDO USA, LLP where he managed audits of both large public and private companies since May 2010. Mr. Wesch holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree, from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
EVP Global Finance & Operations
Kirstie Brown was appointed the Company's principal accounting officer in September 2014. She is currently Executive Vice President of Global Finance & Operations for Digital Turbine Group. She is also the Chief Financial Officer of the Company’s subsidiary, Digital Turbine Asia Pacific Pty. Prior to being appointed to her current positions in 2012, Ms. Brown served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Mirror Image Access (Australia) Pty Ltd (“MIA”) and of the Mirror Image International Group, a group comprised of five of MIA’s subsidiaries in the United States, United Kingdom and Singapore. She currently serves on the Board of five of the Company’s subsidiaries comprising the Digital Turbine Asia Pacific Group: Digital Turbine Holdings Pty Ltd, Digital Turbine Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, Digital Turbine Technology (IP) Pty Ltd, Digital Turbine IP Pty Ltd, and Digital Turbine Singapore Pty Ltd.
Head of Americas and EVP Global Business Development
A 20-year wireless industry veteran, Nicholas is Head of Americas and EVP Global Sales and Business Development where he is responsible for driving the company’s global sales and new partnerships. As Head of the America’s Region he is responsible for all operations, business development, advertising sales and long-term growth. Under his leadership, Digital Turbine has secured major partnerships with companies like: Verizon, T-Mobile, Cricket, US Cellular and Deutsche Telekom. With over 19 years experience in the mobile sector, he brings a unique balance of big company experience with tons of start-up experience. Nicholas began his wireless career at Verizon Wireless, spending 10 years where he held several senior level sales and marketing positions. He has spent the last 9 years as an Executive for various start-ups leading them to explosive growth and acquisition. Most recently he was President of Logia Mobile USA where he spent 18 months leading the company to revenue growth and acquisition. Prior to Logia, he was President and CEO of Viva Vision, a company in the mobile content space that he led to exponential revenue growth, leading to an acquisition in 2009. Prior to Viva Vision, Nicholas held the role of vice president, mobile sales and marketing for American Greetings Interactive (AGI), where he was responsible for all global sales, marketing and strategic planning for the company’s wireless division. He directly managed carrier distribution channels, business development, and, licensing, forging lucrative deals with leading brand partners including Univision Communications, Def Jam Enterprises, and Sports Illustrated/Time Inc.
Nicholas is a subject matter expert in the mobile content and adverting space; he actively participates in various industry events as a panelist or speaker. He also serves as an Advisory Board Member of Pay2day Inc. Nicholas lives in Southern California with his wife and two children.
Chief Technology Officer
Christine Collins joined Digital Turbine in 2018 and brings more than 20 years of experience in technology strategy, business transformation and a proven track record in building and leading innovation and development operations teams. Most recently she served as CTO of Global Business Solutions for North America at First Data Corporation, a leading global payment and commerce solutions provider. Her responsibilities included creating new mobile platforms for App Pay™, Samsung Pay™ and Android Pay™ while also maintaining 24x7x365 stability for one of the largest payments systems in the world. Prior to First Data, Christine served in leadership roles where she structured the development organization for Viewpointe Company and the technology strategy for Hewlett Packard (formerly Compaq). Christine holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri State University.
